I got to go on a wonderful last second trip to the Arizona highlands last Thursday and Friday, and since I do not publish on weekends, that means that there isn't much to go on about.
I did ride two more pieces of the Arizona Trail, and I will post the pictures and story on my other blog, located here.
I did publish three more pieces on Associated Content, two on horse training (which I spent many years doing) and one on rafting the Colorado River - a blast, and something everyone should try. Not only is the scenery second to none, but the water can be exilerating and fun. Click here for the river article, and here and here for the articles on horse training.
For articles on travel, this link will take you to my profile and all of the travel articles written since you last looked.
For pet health you can follow this link, which will take you to my profile page, allowing you access to all of my pet health articles. Also included under this link is today's article about the Bureau of land Management's plan to round up horses in Wyoming. This is a controversial roundup for several reasons, and though I do not delve into the politics of the BLM's actions, I do discuss the possible ramifications of dumping 600+ horses into a saturated market. This article was picked up by Google News.
I continue to have fun with my Hubpages account, and experimented with a short fiction piece there. This link will take you to my profile page there, where you can read about geese being eaten by bobcats, dogs conspiring with scorpions, vultures attacking houses, and a few cowboy memories from my childhood. The fiction piece is called The Saddle.
