I've been out of town racing and doing epic rides, this has caused me to have 'jock brain' which affects my ability to write coherently (or at all) so sorry about the gap. I promise, it won't happen again (that is SUCH a lie!)
My other blog will have a play-by-play of my epic feats of riding - starting with 52 miles of mountain bike racing in Northern Arizona, and hopefully shortly having all the adventures that Hubby and I had while riding the 212 miles of Blue Loop on the New Mexico, Arizona border.
Anyway, what has been going on other than the pooling of blood in my legs?
More articles of course!
I sent my mom and her friend Barb to the Duck Races in Deming N.M. where my mom rented a duck (not, it turns out an especially fast one) and raced it. She provided photos of the event and Barb, as my 'reporter' took extensive notes. That article can be found here.
I wrote several more horse articles focusing on breeding and bits (maybe I'm working my way through the 'B's.) Anyway, they are on the Yahoo site and can be found here, which is my profile, from there you can link to any of the 14 articles I have at Yahoo.com.
Of course I have been filling the internet with pithy and brilliant articles on pets, going on a short rampage about endocrine diseases. I also wrote an article about why your dog sees every meal as his first and last, and every crumb is swept off the floor almost before it hits it. The article is titled "My dog is always hungry!"
All of my travel and pet health pieces can be accessed by clicking this link.
I have been less active on Hubpages. I wrote about yard snakes (after seeing mine lurking in the sacred datura), and the five best horse books (as I see them). Those articles can be found by visiting my profile.
I received several assignments recently from Yahoo.com, and hopefully the articles will be accepted and I will share them here in coming weeks (it takes two weeks for Yahoo to accept articles).
